We have programs for ages 6 weeks up to 12 years. All are designed to develop strong characteristic and learning capabilities.
Infants & Toddlers
We will provide your child with a loving and nurturing environment. At Wee Care Learning Center our teachers are trained to recognize and help the different stages of infants and toddlers. They will begin to discover their environment through all of their senses. We will provide auditory, visual and sensory learning. They provide individual attention and help toddlers to accept limits and frustrations in a positive way. Although most children at this age are nonverbal, we teach them to communicate using sign language. Our children also are taught that they are special, loved and one of a kind. We encourage, self-discipline, self-knowledge, independence, enthusiasm for learning and intellectual stimulation. Our program is designed to give each child as much contact as possible with their caregivers to encourage emotional, intellectual and physical development. Children will begin exploring and learning as we begin to teach them to recognize their colors and introduce them to sign language. Sign language increases your child’s vocabulary and helps them communicate earlier.
Preschool
Here at Wee Care Learning Center each preschool classroom has been designed to offer a variety of stimulating activities. Bible, Music, Language & Literacy, Creative Art, Dramatic Play, and Reading are part of the daily schedule in our Preschool program. Our staff maintains and provides an assessment for each child which tracks developmental progress through daily activities, photos, art projects, and saved class assignments. Parent Teach Conferences will be scheduled twice within the school year to assess the development of each child.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten for Four year old children classrooms are the perfect balance of structure, sophistication, play, and fun. Each of these classrooms include a plethora of stimulating activities. Activities such as Bible, Music, Language & Literacy, Creative Art, Dramatic Play, Blocks, and Reading are scheduled daily in our Kindergarten (four) classroom at Wee Care Learning Center. These are designed to engage the children in fun, hands-on-learning, social skills, and cooperation. Our dedicated staff maintain assessment portfolios for each student in order to track their progress in development. These portfolios are stored in the classroom and used in fall & spring parent-teacher.
